Tara Niendorf

Tara Niendorf is a partner at Daugherty, Fowler, Peregrin, Haught & Jenson, focusing on aviation transactions. Her practice involves assisting clients with the purchase, sale, leasing, financing, and registration of aircraft. Tara is highly experienced in FAA regulations, aircraft title, and the Cape Town Convention. She works closely with clients to navigate complex aircraft transactions, ensuring compliance and successful registration, perfection, and priority.

Tara earned her Juris Doctor with Honors from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where she received multiple scholarships and awards for academic excellence, including induction into the Order of the Coif. She also served as an Assistant Managing Editor for the Oklahoma Law Review. Tara gained valuable experience as a legal extern for the U.S. Department of Justice and Judge Shon T. Erwin, as well as serving as a summer associate with a prominent Oklahoma law firm. Prior to law school, Tara worked as a paralegal and graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University. She was honored to be listed in the 2022 Expert Guides Rising Stars in Aviation and was recognized by Attorney Intel as one of their Top 25 Transportation Attorneys of 2025.

Tara resides in Edmond, Oklahoma with her husband, a retired U. S. Air Force pilot, and their children and dogs. In her free time, Tara enjoys baking, gardening, and walking or hiking in the great outdoors and is actively involved in supporting her church community.
