Scott Oshman
Scott Oshman has spent his career almost entirely in leadership roles within team environment settings. His 15+ years of hands-on leadership experience includes 13 years in the aviation industry and 2 years in the oil and gas industry. Scott has successfully closed over 200 aircraft sales and acquisition transactions since 2013. Prior to founding Oshman Aviation, he spent 3 years leading an aircraft dealership sales department in Fort Worth, Texas. At Oshman Aviation, he is responsible for maintaining year-over-year revenue growth and return on investment for the organization. Oshman Aviation has completed over 125 aircraft sales transactions since its establishment in 2017. Scott’s focus is on developing and implementing a culture that leads to ongoing excellence and effective growth of the organization while maintaining the core values of the company.
A North Texas native and graduate from the University of North Texas, Scott developed a strong passion for business early in his undergraduate studies. Scott played football for Midwestern State University from 2006-2007 prior to transferring to the University of North Texas. While at the University of North Texas, he began flight training at the Denton Enterprise Airport. Scott is a commercial instrument rated pilot and certified flight instructor with over 2,750 flight hours in 20 various aircraft. Scott is a 2011 graduate of the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree and continued master’s level courses at Southern Methodist University in Business Dispute Resolution. Scott is an Advisory Board Member for VREF Aircraft Value Reference & Appraisal Services. Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and sons while watching sports, playing golf, spending time on the lake, and traveling.
