Mike Simmons, President and one of the founding members of the Professional Aircraft Appraisal Organization (PAAO), resides in North Carolina and holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from North Carolina State University. In addition, he also holds a private pilot certificate with instrument rating and is an aircraft owner. In 1992, he began appraising aircraft and continues to do so today under the auspices of the PAAO.
One of the duties as President of the PAAO is to train current Associates of the organization in aircraft appraisal methods and techniques which ensures credible and reliable reporting of aircraft values. Mike has also published articles in a variety of aviation magazines over the years regarding aircraft evaluation methods and aircraft appraisal techniques.
