KJ McCarter

KJ joined Aviation Tax Consultants in the spring of 2021. He is a certified public accountant and assists with tax analysis, business development, and client management.  

KJ graduated with highest distinction from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, earning his B.S. in Accounting and Finance. KJ earned his Master of Science in Taxation from the University of Cincinnati in the fall of 2023, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. He began his career at a Big 4 public accounting firm in Chicago before accepting an advisory role here at ATC.

KJ resides in Fishers, Indiana with his wife Alex and enjoys snow skiing, following IU basketball, triathlons, and running marathons to raise money for cancer research. Over the past few years, KJ and his wife have raised over $50,000 for cancer related charities in honor of KJ’s late father, and ATC co-founder, Fred McCarter.
