Jonathan Levy is a board-certified expert in aviation law who serves as the Legal Director of Advocate Consulting Legal Group, PLLC, a Florida law firm with a national clientele that dedicates itself exclusively to the general aviation industry, with particular focus on assisting aircraft owners and operators in legal compliance with federal and state taxes, FAA issues, audit defense, and business law. Jonathan, a graduate of the University of Arizona and NYU School of Law, has been an invited speaker for the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), numerous aircraft owners associations, and a wide range of aviation industry trade groups. He serves on the Board of Directors of the National Aircraft Reseller’s Association (NARA) and has published articles on a wide range of aviation topics. In his tenure at Advocate, Jonathan has handled hundreds of aircraft transactions, represented aviation clients in state and federal audits, and developed cutting edge compliance tools to best serve Advocate’s 1800 general aviation clients. Jonathan is currently expanding his technical acumen as a Computer Science graduate student at Georgia Institute of Technology. His wife, Suzanne Meiners-Levy, is also a Partner in the firm and they have two young sons.
