Craig Cox

Craig Cox is the Director of Asset Management with the Mente Group in Dallas, Texas.

As a 20-year veteran in the industry, Craig is a Senior ASA appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers in the field of Machinery and Technical Specialties - Aircraft Specific with twenty years of experience with business and personal aircraft. 

Craig was previously the COO and senior appraiser for SAI Valuations, LLC from 2005 thru 2018 where he was directly responsible for managing the valuation process.  He was responsible for performing all aircraft valuations including Comparable Analysis, Residual Value Projections, and Damage Assessments as well as making sure all reports produced by the firm were USPAP compliant. Craig has appraised over 6500 aircraft and/or aviation related assets with a total appraised value of over 35 billion dollars.

Craig attended Rock Valley College Aviation Maintenance Technology program in Rockford, Illinois.

As a teenager, he worked at the FBO he was taking flying lessons from at his local airport.

Craig is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys flying, boating, shooting sports, competition cattle sorting and training/starting young horses.

Craig is very active in many business aircraft societies such as, NBAA, NAFA and his local chapter of ASA located in Milwaukee, WI.
