Chris Canon, MBA, ASA is the founder and lead appraiser of RAD Jets, a trusted provider of expert aircraft appraisal services in the business aviation industry.

A lifelong aviation enthusiast with deep roots in the field, Chris's passion began at age six with his first private jet ride, sparking a lifelong connection to the skies. Originally from Texas, he holds bachelor's degrees in International Business and French from the University of Texas at Arlington, along with an MBA from the University of North Georgia. He is also a skilled pilot with single- and multi-engine commercial ratings.

Chris launched his professional aviation career in 2011 at Textron Aviation, where he advanced through roles of increasing responsibility over 13 years. There, he assisted customers in acquiring a wide range of aircraft—from piston models like Skylanes and Bonanzas to turboprops and jets including King Airs, Citations, Learjets, and more—facilitating over $500 million in aircraft sales.

In 2024, Chris expanded his expertise by earning the prestigious Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation from the American Society of Appraisers, specializing in aircraft. He founded RAD Jets as a family-oriented business (the name "RAD" honors the first initials of his children, with his wife Kim as a key inspiration). Headquartered in the Atlanta area, Georgia, RAD Jets focuses on delivering precise, USPAP-compliant valuations through rigorous on-site and desktop appraisals, market analysis, and related services.

A dedicated family man, lifelong learner, and Jesus follower, Chris combines his extensive transaction experience, appraisal credentials, and commitment to transparency and integrity to help clients—business leaders, lenders, owners, and aviation enthusiasts—make confident, informed decisions in aircraft valuations and transactions.
