Brad Harris

Brad Harris is the founder and CEO of Dallas Jet International, bringing over three decades of experience in corporate aviation, aircraft sales, and aviation consulting. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Professional Aviation and Airway Science and a Master’s Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Louisiana Tech University.

Brad began his aviation career in 1989 as a corporate pilot for a Fortune 500 company. By 1993, he launched a successful aircraft leasing venture, which quickly evolved into a full-service aircraft management company. That same year, he entered the aircraft sales market and rapidly earned a reputation as one of the most respected brokers in the industry. In 1994, he officially founded the company that would become Dallas Jet International—today recognized as a leader in aircraft brokerage, acquisition, and consulting services.

A current Airline Transport Pilot, Brad is type-rated in over ten jet aircraft, including multiple Gulfstream models, the Hawker, Falcon, Citation, Beechjet, JetStar II, Diamond Jet, and King Air 300/350. His extensive hands-on flying and operational knowledge informs his unmatched ability to deliver strategic outcomes for clients across a wide range of aircraft markets.

Beyond aircraft sales, Brad has deep expertise in aviation management and consulting. He has helped clients establish full-service flight departments, handling crewing, operations, maintenance oversight, and budgeting. His entrepreneurial background also includes notable ventures in real estate and commercial insurance—bringing a multidimensional business acumen to every client engagement.

Brad serves on several industry leadership boards, including the President’s Advisory Board at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, the Board of Directors for the National Aircraft Finance Association (NAFA), and the Customer Advisory Board at CAE Simuflite. He is also Chairman Emeritus of the International Aircraft Dealers Association (IADA), formerly known as NARA.
