Aashish Ponda is a Liability Management Advisor of White Bridge Capital, where he leads the firm’s efforts in delivering innovative credit solutions tailored for Registered Investor Advisors and Multi-Family Offices to serve their clients' needs. Leveraging over three decades of experience in asset-backed lending and structured finance, he specializes in creating tailored strategies to optimize balance sheets and address complex financial challenges.

With deep expertise in credit and financial markets, Aashish is a recognized authority in structured lending. He previously served as the Global Head of Structured Lending at Citi Private Bank, where he managed a substantial and diverse lending portfolio spanning real estate, aircraft, art, and other asset classes. His career includes senior roles at UBS, Zurich Capital Markets, and ABN Amro Bank, where he excelled in credit structuring and trading. With more than 20 years in direct lending across various asset classes, Aashish has developed a profound understanding of balance sheets, asset volatility, and portfolio correlations, gained through his work in key financial hubs like New York, Singapore, and Mumbai.

In addition to his credit expertise, Aashish is a seasoned real estate investor and serves as an Adjunct Professor of Real Estate at New York University (NYU). His academic role reflects his commitment to sharing the insights and expertise developed over decades of managing complex lending portfolios and advising on innovative financial strategies. Aashish is both a Lawyer and a Chartered Accountant.
