Benefits of Membership

NAFA’s network has grown consistently from its inception – comprised of the finest aircraft lenders and product and service providers in the industry, allowing members to have access to and work with every aspect of the aircraft finance community. Collectively, our members support the financing of general and business aviation nationally and throughout the world – all from one place – the National Aircraft Finance Association.

Education

Aircraft financing can be complicated and is considered by many as high-risk lending. NAFA provides its members with quality educational content that helps lenders better manage their portfolios and product and service providers better assist their clients. 

With the host of key influential players at every one of NAFA’s Annual Conferences, it is hard to miss a beat on the most up-to-date industry trends and best practices. Government legislation, market influences, and industry insights are all shared and discussed in one place keeping you up to date on all industry related matters.

Networking

NAFA gives expansive access to the aviation finance community – establishing relationships with the most reputable and passionate aviation and finance professionals. Members gather on a regular basis to discuss and problem solve the issues that matter to them most.

NAFA members have the opportunity to attend NAFA’s Annual Conference, known for its host of industry expert speakers, workshops, and networking events throughout.  Membership also gives access to what is widely recognized as one of the best events at NBAA/BACE each year – the Annual NAFA/IADA networking reception.

Marketing Efforts

NAFA’s marketing efforts encourage aircraft financing as a whole, driving business to the NAFA network of aviation experts.  Its strong relationships with well known industry publications, allows print and digital advertising opportunities that promote aviation finance and encourage use of the NAFA network of members for any and all aviation finance needs.

In 2019 alone, the NAFA website had over 100,000 pageviews, the vast majority of which were searches for member companies or views of member profiles. The main office frequenltly receives calls or emails requesting referrals for specific services that NAFA members provide.

Business Referrals

NAFA members work together regularly to finance general and business aviation aircraft.  This creates a community of professionals who know each other well and refer business to each other often. Lenders not only refer business to each other for transactions outside of their lending focus, but also to the products and service providers in our network.

The vast array of NAFA product and service providers also refer business to each other for portfolio assistance, legal or tax advice, title work, and more. Our members help each other – connecting people to the right people to help people to finance the world's general and business aviation fleet.
