VREF Appraisals provides comprehensive valuations to determine an aircraft’s Current Market Value and/or Forecasted Residual Value, giving our clients accurate figures and projections. Over the years, VREF and its staff have appraised several thousand aircraft, individual and fleet, with values in excess of 300 Billion Dollars. VREF Verified is an on-demand opinion of value and was created to assist our subscribers with complex aircraft valuations, for example: refurbished trainers, remanufactured aircraft, heavily modified aircraft, conversions, and aircraft with a small fleet size or for aircraft that might be out of the knowledge base of the professional. VREF Verified provides a comprehensive evaluation based on the aircrafts actual component status and installed equipment and is returned to the subscriber “Stamped” and verified the same business day.

USPAP Compliant Desktop Appraisal**

This valuation product is a “desktop appraisal” and is characterized by the absence of any inspection of the aircraft or its complete maintenance records, but does include consideration for information pertaining to the maintenance status of the aircraft provided by the client or an outside third party. A desktop appraisal provides a value that includes adjustments from the mid-time, mid-life baseline to account for the actual maintenance status of the aircraft. This appraisal is presented in current USPAP standards.

All Aircraft – $3000 USD
Fractional Aircraft with Valuation Resolution – $8000 USD
Plus $2,000 USD Daily Field Inspectors Fee or $300 USD per Hour

 

USPAP Compliant Appraisal and Full Inspection**

This valuation product involves a full inspection of the aircraft; aircraft flight logs, aircraft and engine maintenance records, and related FAA records (to establish values only). A current fair market value is established for the aircraft that is determined by its specific characteristics, such as total time, age, condition, modification status, etc. This appraisal is presented in current USPAP standards.

All Aircraft – $6500 USD
Fractional Aircraft with Valuation Resolution – $8000 USD
Plus $2,000 USD Daily Field Inspectors Fee or $300 USD per Hour

 

USPAP Compliant Appraisal – Residual Value Appraisal**

This analysis focuses on estimating a “future fair market value,” for a designated aircraft type through a specified calendar time frame. The analysis is based on historical data and current indicators, which can also be adjusted for inflationary assumptions. The  end result is typically presented in a one-page format and current USPAP standards.

Aircraft or Equipment Collateral Inspection**

This product involves a physical inspection of the specified collateral. The work scope associated with the process involves a physical inspection of the aircraft or equipment and the associated records. The end product is comprised of a detailed written report depicting the overall condition of the collateral. There are no value representations associated with this product and it should not be employed as a tool for determining the technical airworthiness or serviceability of the collateral. The sole purpose of this product is to verify the existence and general physical condition of the specified collateral.

Plus $2,000 USD Daily Field Inspectors Fee or $300 USD per Hour

 

USPAP Compliant Diminution of Value Evaluation and Appraisal Report**

This product involves a physical inspection of the specified aircraft, a market assessment, and an appraisal. The work scope associated with the process involves a physical inspection of the aircraft to include all related equipment and the associated records, a complete review of the damage inflicted on the aircraft and the associated repairs, and a fair market value assessment of the aircraft. The end product is comprised of a detailed written report depicting the overall condition of the collateral, the full scope and type of damage that occurred, and a representation of any perceived diminution of value. Although there is a value representation associated with this product, they should not be employed as tools for determining the technical airworthiness or serviceability of the collateral. The sole purpose of this product is to verify the extent of the damage, general physical condition of the specified collateral, and what, if any, potential there is for a diminution of value.

Asset Verification Inspection and Technical Oversight Report

An aircraft physical inspection (performed) to verify condition, equipment on an aircraft. This inspection may be used in conjunction with either a desktop or full appraisal.

Plus $2,000 USD Daily Field Inspectors Fee or $300 USD per Hour

In the event that the specified aircraft or equipment being appraised or inspected have any unusual characteristics (i.e. missing records, damage history, special mission equipment, etc.) additional per diem or hourly fees and expenses may apply to the pricing noted above. Our current daily inspector’s fee rate is $2,000 USD with an hourly rate of $300 USD per hour.
