Rob was admitted as a Solicitor in 2003 and joined The Air Law Firm in 2017 from Knights Professional Services where he spent time drafting and reviewing aero engine contracts and engine support agreements for a leading aircraft engine manufacturer. He has much experience drafting and reviewing a wide range of aviation contracts. Previously, he spent over a decade as an adjuster and in-house lawyer with Charles Taylor aviation and at Airclaims. Here, he developed expertise in the adjustment, management and resolution of pre-litigated claims concerning airports, passenger and cargo operations, general and military aviation, aviation products, hull damage, ground handling, fuelling, catering, personal accident and business aviation.
Early on in his career, Rob also spent time in-house with Monarch Airlines and worked closely with the Group Lawyer on a wide variety of legal issues. He was involved in fuel purchase hedging, leasing, passenger complaints and the establishment of a protocol for handling disruptive passengers - as well as dealing with such cases.
