Edgewater, MD –  National Aircraft Finance Association (NAFA) is pleased to announce that Aircraft Systems Group, Inc. has recently joined its network of aviation professionals. Aircraft Systems Group conducts aircraft inspections and assessments for clients’ assets worldwide.

Bob Gallagher, an active member of the aviation industry, holds an Airframe and Powerplant Certificate (A&P) for over 50 years and is an FAA Designated Maintenance Examiner (DME). He has received the FAA Charles Taylor Award and serves as an FAA FASTEAM representative. With multiple degrees in aviation and education, including a Ph.D. in Aviation Business Administration, Bob has written articles and papers on Part 147 education and aging aircraft. He has extensive experience interfacing between aircraft purchasers and sellers from technical and leasing perspectives. Bob also serves as an instructor for the American Society of Appraisers in the ASA Aircraft Valuation Education Program and is an ISTAT (International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading) appraiser.
