The NAFA Corporate Aviation Business Scholarship was established to benefit Full-time university and college students seeking a Bachelors, Masters/MBA, or PhD degree for a business career in Corporate Aviation and, specifically, within the corporate aircraft Finance, Legal and Insurance community.

This Scholarship is offered by the National Aircraft Finance Association (“NAFA”), and the amount of Scholarship funds to be made available each year, and for any one Scholarship winner, shall be determined annually by the NAFA.

NAFA will accept applications from qualified applicants attending Colleges and Universities offering course work in Accounting, Business Marketing, Economics, and/or Finance, with a focus on Aviation Business/Management.  All interested applicants must apply through their school’s Financial Aid office, and the office shall submit to NAFA, by no later than April 1st, applications from no more than three of the qualified applicants meeting the NAFA Scholarship requirements. The NAFA Board shall approve all Scholarships to be awarded each year, and advise all Applicants through their school’s Financial Aid Office, by no later than July 15th.

NAFA is committed to providing Scholarships on an annual basis to worthy candidates. However, NAFA is under no obligation to provide any Scholarships during any single calendar year.

Scholarships awards are monetary and may be from $1,000 to $5,000 in value.

This award is available to Full-time, Undergraduate (Freshman through Senior) students (a minimum of 12 hours/semester) and Full-time Graduate Students.  Students who are US Citizens or Permanent Residents are preferred.  Applicants must have a 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA on a 4.0 grade scale (High School GPA or equivalent for Freshman applicants).

Eligible students should apply through their schools’ Financial Aid office.  All completed applications must be submitted to NAFA by the Financial Aid office and must be received by NAFA by no later than April 1st.
