Mr. Anthony ("Tony") Kioussis is Vice President – Strategic Marketing for GE Capital Solutions, Corporate Aircraft, based in Danbury, Connecticut. In this capacity, he is responsible for spearheading the division’s marketing efforts relating to lease and loan financing of turbine aircraft.
Prior to joining GE, Mr. Kioussis served as Vice President-Aircraft Sales Worldwide for Jet Aviation Holdings, and was responsible for spearheading the company's global aircraft marketing and sales activities.
Mr. Kioussis has an extensive background in marketing and sales, including:
- Vice President-New Business Development, for Jet Support Services, Inc. In this capacity, he was responsible for expanding the company's revenue sources through the establishment of new programs, services, and joint venture relationships. He joined JSSI as Sales Director-Airframe Programs, and was responsible for developing and executing the company's "Tip-to-Tail" Airframe Hourly Maintenance Cost Program.
- Strategic marketing, planning, sales and financial services experience as President of The K Group, Ltd., a consulting firm that provided cost effective support to organizations operating in the areas of aviation, advanced technology and related products and services.
- Marketing management and business development experience with British Aerospace, Inc., one of the world's largest aerospace companies, where held several key marketing and sales management positions before serving as Vice President-Sales for the newly established JSX Capital Corp.
- Marketing, operations and business development experience with Eastern Airlines, where he helped identify, develop and implement various sales and marketing programs-including the "Eastern Express" commuter airline feeder network.
Mr. Kioussis has a Bachelor of Air Commerce Degree from the College of Aeronautics at Florida Institute of Technology. He is the 1997 recipient of the "George M. Skurla Outstanding Alumni Award," bestowed annually by the College of Aeronautics to an alumni who has demonstrated commitment to advancing aviation and professional activities that promote aviation, aerospace technology, operations, education and safety.
